NUJS International Conference on Criminal Justice Administration: Emerging Issues in 21st Century which is scheduled to be held during March 20-22nd, 2020 has been postponed due to the sudden outbreak of the COVID-19 virus in the country.

Prof. Ramchandra Guha, Renowned Historian and Author will be delivering the Thirteenteenth K.C. Basu Memorial Lecture on the topic : “The Republic At Seventy : A Historian’s Report Card” on 24th March 2020 in the University Auditorium at 3.00 p.m. Prof. Suranjan Das, Vice Chancellor, Jadavpur University will preside over the lecture and Dr. Kaushik Basu will grace the occasion as Guest of Honour.

“Prof. Madhava Menon Legal Conclave” – to be held on 1st & 2nd February 2020.

“Fifth Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee Memorial Lecture will be delivered by Professor Hans Tijo, Director, EW Barker Centre for Law and Business, National University of Singapore on Monday, i.e 6th of January 2020 at 3.00 p.m in Room No. 201. He will be delivering the lecture on ‘CIS, Crypto and Coins as “New” Collateral’.

“Fifth Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee Memorial Lecture will be held on Sunday, 17th March 2019 in Room No. 201 at 3.00 p.m. Professor Amita Dhanda, Professor of Law, NALSAR, University of Law, has agreed to deliver the lecture on “Developing a sense of injustice: Reimagining Legal Education in India”. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Aniruddha Bose, Chief Justice, Jharkhand High Court & Chancellor of NUSRL, Ranchi, will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and will preside over the function.”

“The Twelfth K.C. Basu Endowment Lecture will be delivered by Professor Prabhat Patnaik on “Set of Fundamental Economic Rights in India” on 16th March 2019 in Room No. 201 at 3.00 p.m. All are requested to attend the same.”

“Hon’ble Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Judge, Supreme Court of India will be delivering the Sixth Shri M.K. Nambyar Lecture on Saturday, 2nd March 2019 in the University Auditorium at 3.00 p.m.”
