Working Experience

• From September 27th 2019 to 30th Nov 2023: working as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Regulatory Studies, Governance and Public Policy, The W.B National University of Juridical Sciences.
• From September 2021 to till now: Working as a Visiting Faculty to teach Introduction of Intellectual Property Law to the Department of Law, Sister Nivedita University, New Town, Kolkata, India.
• From November 2019 to till now: Working with academic committee member of International Trademark Association (INTA).
• From Aug 2018 to July 1, 2019: Worked as an Assistant Professor Gr. I of law at the Amity Law School, Amity University Kolkata, India, teaching Intellectual Property Laws to UG & PG (copyright, IPR in Pharma Industry, Trademark and Design, Biodiversity Law & Introduction to Intellectual Property).
• From Dec 2013 to Aug 2018: Gained experience in teaching assistantship experience with research at Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur on different subjects, these are Information Technology Law, Constitutional Law, Copyright Law and Contract Law.

Research Experience

• Working on a project on “Geographical Indication mapping of West Bengal: Rapid Survey” as a Co-Principal Investigator (Jan 2021 – Initiated) funded by the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences.
• Worked in the project titled “A Study on Carbon Sequestration & Oxygen generation potential of common tree species in the WBNUJS and the city of Kolkata in and around the few sites, conducted by by Centre for Regulatory Studies, Governance and Public Policy, The West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata with Techno India University, West Bengal (2020).”
• Worked as in the project titled “Impact Assessment of Government Welfare Schemes for PVTG’s of West Bengal.”
• Worked in the project titled “Path Finding Study on Traditional Knowledge and Traditional Cultural Expression amongst the PVTG’s of West Bengal.”
• Worked in a project funded by TATA STEEL Co. on Study on Biodiversity in and around the Noamundi Iron Mining Zone of TATA Steel (March 2020, Completed).

• Internship in National Human Rights Commission for one Month (14th May 2012- 12th June 2012) & worked on the Project namely, “Importance and Role of optional protocols to International Convention in Indian Context”.
• Visited various NGOs, Tihar Jail, prepared reports on these visits, had interactive sessions with members of NHRC, attended sessions on functioning of various divisions of NHRC, made presentation on human rights scenario in Tripura & Odisha, attended lectures on human rights of women, children, disabled, refugees, LGBTQs, etc. delivered by distinguished personalities in their respective fields, interacted with the Delhi police. Actively vouch the thought on Debate relating to Right to education Act, 2009.
