Faisal Fasih

He is an assistant professor of law, having more than ten years of experience in teaching and research. He has obtained his LL.B degree from the University of Calcutta and completed LL.M from NUJS. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lectureship conducted by the University Grant Commission (UGC). He has been awarded with Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by the UGC. Presently, he is pursuing PhD. from NUJS. He teaches criminal law, consumer law and forensic science. Besides, he imparts trainings to professionals on various aspects of law. The trainees include magistrate, police officers, members of consumer forum, corporate professionals and para legal volunteers. He has published papers in journals of international and national repute. He has presented several papers in international and national conferences and has been invited as a resource person on various issues related to law. His areas of interest are criminal law and Islamic law.
