Abhijeet Nandy

Abhijeet is currently working as Junior Research Fellow at The W.B. National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. He has completed his graduation in the subject History from Presidency College, Kolkata and Postgraduate degree in History with specialisation in Modern History from University of Calcutta with first class. Currently he is a doctoral student at The W.B. National University of Juridical Science, Kolkata. He has qualified UGC–NET and WBSET 2021. His areas of interest include criminal law, legal history, history of partition and social policies in post- colonial India. He has worked as a Research Assistant at Centre for Regulatory Studies, Governance and Public Policy, WBNUJS for more than two years. He has extensive experience in empirical research in various districts of West Bengal. He has worked in various on-going government funded research projects. Additionally, he has also worked as a Teaching Assistant to Justice Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya (Sir Ashutosh Mukherjee Chair, WBNUJS), Winter Semester, 2020. He has several publications to his credit. He has also presented papers at several international conferences.
